Almost every kitchen we install in Whitefield goes into a gated apartment complex, and that shapes the project more than the design does. Material has to come up a booked service lift inside a fixed window, work stops at the hour the association says it stops, and there is a deposit and a gate pass list to file before anyone starts.

We treat that as our administrative job, not yours. Our site supervisor files the work permit, submits the worker list, books the lift and keeps the crew inside the permitted hours — which is the difference between a five-day installation and one that stretches over three weekends.

Working inside Whitefield's gated communities

The large complexes around ITPL, Varthur Road and Hope Farm each run their own fit-out rules: permitted working hours, mandatory interior work deposits, restrictions on wet work like cutting and grinding, and service lift booking that is often limited to a two- or three-hour slot per day. Because we prefabricate carcasses and shutters at the workshop and only assemble on site, we need far fewer lift slots and generate almost no cutting dust inside the flat — which is usually what makes the association sign the permit without argument. It also matters that much of Whitefield's stock is rented; if you are fitting out a flat you own but do not occupy, we can run the whole project on photo updates and a single handover visit.
